Along with Woodhouse and Hyde Park, Headingley is a choice location for students in Leeds. It is easy to see why because the area is only a couple of miles from Leeds city centre, the university campuses and has direct travel connections to Leeds Trinity campus (Horsforth) as well. A lively and vibrant centre has all the bars, nightlife, coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets that you could need during your time here. It is easy to see why many students remain in Headingley in the years after graduation and the area is popular for young professionals moving to Leeds.
TRANSPORT LINKS
There are frequent buses along Otley Road into the city centre (roughly 20minutes travel time). The local train station is only 2 stops from Leeds central station, offering an easy way to return home and only 1 stop from Horsforth for those studying at Leeds Trinity University. It is equally easy to escape the city centre by car, bus or train and to experience the open countryside to the north of Leeds, or further afield. All of our homes are through-terraces, giving you access to both front and back of the house and doubling your chance of finding a nearby car-parking space. It is only a short walk to the Leeds Beckett campus
THINGS TO DO IN HEADINGLEY
Away from your studies, there is plenty to entertain you. All our homes are only a short walk from the main centre of Headingley on Otley Road. Here you will find many options for socialising including the well-known pubs like the Original Oak (with its awesome beer garden) and the Skyrack. Try the Otley run pub crawl starting at Woodies (about 10 minutes walk from the main centre) and stopping in (at the last count) 16 other bars before arriving at the Dry Dock close to the centre of town. Foodwise, there is a huge range of cuisines on offer as well as a good range of coffee shops and cafes – from any of the expected chains as well as some great, local independents. Cottage Road cinema is close by and it is impossible to escape the shadow of Headingley cricket ground and rugby league stadium – both experiences not to be missed during your time in Leeds.

Our properties are large, terraced houses (most are larger than more expensive properties elsewhere), all furnished to a high, modern standard, with all the fixtures and fittings that you would expect (e.g. wifi, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers), and are in easy walking distance of all the local amenities that Headingley has to offer. All our houses are through-terraces which greatly increases your chances of parking your car nearby and also provide 2 outdoor areas so that you can enjoy the sunshine and fresh-air for those all important summer evenings and barbeques – or just an important outside space during the current pandemic situation. Many of our current tenants have really valued this outdoor space over the past year, using it to weight train / exercise, study outside, or just sit and enjoy the sunshine.
